Luke Maitland

Colourist Luke Maitland is a versatile painter who enjoys working with an array of styles and media. Growing up in Bath, Luke studied Art Foundation at Bath College before successfully completing a Fine Art degree at the London Guildhall University. Passionate about Bath and it’s buildings.

He says
"Bath is often depicted in muted tones, reflecting the city’s elegance and refinement. I wanted to emphasize Bath’s vibrant personality, rather than dwelling on the crescents, sandstone and grand features"
